The beta app has since allowed players in this region to play their favourite mobile games with keyboard and mouse controls. With how big the mobile games market is in South America and Southeast Asia, it was great to see that Google targeted these regions first for the program. In November, the beta was released in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia, and Singapore. In August, the Google Play Games beta was made available in Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Thailand, and Australia.
